Shipping FAQ's

Shipping Rates (aka Why don't you offer free shipping?)

We use USPS as our preferred shipper for domestic packages.  The shipping cost depends on the weight of the package, and how far from Austin, Texas you are, but can range pretty broadly.  Since we are a brand new business, we have decided to start out with a flat $7 shipping rate for all packages in order to help us get off the ground.  Please know we are definitely aware that people would prefer free shipping......we do too, but right now we are not able to make it happen.  It would be a dream come true for us if some time in the near future we could offer you free shipping!

When should I expect my order?

Your order will ship out no later than 2-3 days from your purchase date (depending on item availability and time of day order is placed).  There is always the chance that your order may go out sooner and we will do our very best to make that happen.  We have learned in this process that every day can bring many different surprises and if there are any changes or delays, we will contact you.

Since we are shipping from Texas (pretty much right in the middle of the US), most orders should be received within 2-3 days after shipping.

How do I know that my order has been shipped?  Can I track it?

Once your order is processed for shipping, you will receive an email with your shipping confirmation details and tracking information.

Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

For security reasons, we do not currently ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses. 

Do you ship Internationally?

We do not currently ship internationally.

 

Return FAQ's

We appreciate you shopping with Bess & George and hope you love what you bought!

However, if that is not the case, we will gladly accept returns of unworn, unwashed, and undamaged merchandise purchased online (all tags attached) within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Any items received that we deem to be in non-returnable condition will be shipped back to the customer.  All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.

Domestic Returns:

We try to make processing returns as easy as we can for our customers. As long as your order is within the policy guidelines, you can generate a return label through our Return Portal below. All you need is your order number!

International Returns:

Unfortunately, our return portal is not set up for International returns.  If you have a return outside the US, please follow the steps below:

  1. Email us at info@bessandgeorge.com to let us know you'd like to return or exchange your order, and which items.
  2. Ship the package to Bess & George (5501A Balcones Drive, #132, Austin, TX 78731)
  3. If you can, email us your tracking number so we can know when it will arrive.
  4. Once we receive & process your return we will refund/ship out your exchanged items and you will get a notification that the return has been processed.

 

Bess & George does not assume responsibility for reimbursement of compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to our address.

When should I expect my refund?

If your returned item or items are in acceptable condition, as noted above, your refund will be processed within 10 business days of our receipt of your return package. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment, minus the $7.95 restocking fee where applicable. 

A refund issued to the original form of payment, such as a bank card, credit card and/or PayPal can take 1-7 business days to be returned to your account.
